Party Parrot World

How a Strategic Redesign Revived the Social Heart of a Virtual World

Problem: In a critical Beta phase, the chat system—the heart of the game—had such severe friction that it hindered social interaction, threatening player retention and the fundamental vision of the product.

Approach: We implemented a two-pillar strategy: 1) We centralized the social ecosystem into an in-game 'phone,' creating a scalable hub. 2) We redesigned the chat interface from the ground up, adopting universal interaction patterns to eliminate friction.

Impact: Although in Alpha, the redesign resulted in a drastic shift in community sentiment (from frustration to praise) and an observed increase of ~30% in key social interactions, validating our strategic direction.

How a Strategic Product and UX Review Secured the Seed Round by Transforming the User Experience

Problem: A powerful product vision trapped in an unusable application, blocking user traction and the ability to attract investors.

Approach: I proposed a pivot to a 'low-poly' visual style to maximize accessibility and created a focused user flow that prioritized the first-time user experience.

Impact: My work transformed the product into a demonstrable and investable MVP, which directly contributed to the company securing its first seed funding round of 250,000 Euros.

WTFast

How an Onboarding Redesign Tripled Paid Conversion by Increasing User Activation by 400%

Problem: WTFast suffered from an unsustainably low trial-to-paid conversion rate. Most new users churned within the first 24 hours, before experiencing the product's value.

Approach: I redesigned the FTUE to guide users to an immediate 'win' and collaborated with engineering to fix a critical systemic bug that broke the first-time experience.

Impact: The result was a 400% increase in new user activation and a tripling (200% increase) of the conversion rate to paid subscription.
